This multi-layered apple brandy spends 12 months in a 50l oak barrel, which the South Tyrolean traditional business, Fassbinderei Mittelberger, specially produces for us. The slightly toasted barrel made of French oak subtly highlights the fruit rather than overshadowing it. In the glass, the apple brandy sparkles amber-yellow. The aroma of fresh apples, tangerine leaves, and lemon blossoms. Thanks to the storage in wood, aromas of white chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel are added. The apple brandy is elegant, silky, and pleasantly soft on the palate. It reminds us of a light rum.
We recommend the wood-aged apple brandy as a digestif, with apple strudel, Crème Brulée, and aged cheese.
